Transmission Shift Position Indicator Lamp: Service and Repair

Turn ignition off.

Handbrake on.

Remove ashtray (2 TORX screws) and cigarette lighter compartment (2 TORX screws) and tunnel console as per Tunnel Compartment (Console)

Pull bulb holder by the side of the gearshift down and remove contacts.
For bulb type, see Bulb Type. See: Lighting and Horns/Service and Repair Bulb and holder form a single unit and cannot be separated.

Replace lamp.

Refit bulb holder.

Refit tunnel console. Take care to avoid cracking.

Connect connectors.

Test Operation.

Screw tunnel console in place and refit cover as per Tunnel Compartment (Console) Installation Procedure. See: Body and Frame/Interior
Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair

Install and tighten cigarette lighter compartment and ashtray compartment.
