Wiper Motor: Service and Repair
Rear Wiper Unit and Motor

NOTE:  You must refit special radio interference suppression unit if fitted.

Removal:

-

Undo nut, do it up a few turns to protect threads on wiper unit shaft.

-

Remove wiper arm from wiper mechanism by holding nut with polygrip pliers and pushing arm off.

-

Remove wiper arm.

-

Remove trunk panel.

-

Remove wiper unit nuts.

-

Undo wiper unit connector.

-

Remove nut from wiper motor shaft to wiper mechanism.

-

Remove wiper motor screws.

Installation:

-

Connect 12 V supply to wiper motor to ensure wiper motor assumes off position.

-

Install wiper motor on wiper unit.

-

Install wiper motor screws.

-

Install nut on wiper motor shaft to wiper mechanism.
