Oil Pan: Service and Repair
Removing Oil Pan
REMOVING OIL PAN
Special Tools Required: 5006, 5003, 5115, 5871.
Drain engine oil
Install plug with a new gasket after draining.
Torque plug to 60 Nm (45 ft lbs).
Remove splash guard under engine
Disconnect battery ground cable
Disconnect exhaust pipe at flange in front of muffler
Remove retaining nuts for engine mounts
