Fuel Pressure Release: Service and Repair
Have a fuel resistant container ready to catch any excess fuel.
WARNING: Fuel lines are under pressure. Fuel may spray from loose connection until pressure is relieved.
Cover the outlet connection of fuel filter with a shop towel to protect your face from fuel. Loosen the connection to relieve the fuel pressure, then remove
bolt. Some fuel will run out of hose and filter until empty.
