Wheel Bearing: Adjustments
A maintenance free type front wheel bearing is used.
Hub and disc are separate components while the hub functions as the outer bearing race. The hub is mounted on a double-row, grooved ball bearing.
The stub axle has a lock nut which must not be re-used. It is first torqued to 100 Nm (74 ft lb) and then an additional 45°.
