Remove lead carefully to avoid damage to terminal.
To insulate ends of the grey-black and green-yellow leads, crimp splicing sleeves, p/n 956958-3, onto uncut ends.
Note:
Do not strip ends and ensure that sleeves are securely crimped in position. Replace protective cover over connector. Bend rubber protector back into
position and secure with new cable tie.
Compare part number on MFI control module in car with numbers in table.
Replace module if number does not agree with p/n specified in table.
Apply grease, p/n 1161417-9 into terminal sleeves of connector.
Reconnect connector to module.
