Measuring High Voltage Side Of Coil
13.
Measure resistance between HT terminal and each LT terminal as shown in the figure.
Reading: approx. 5 K ohms
If reading is different, replace and retest with new coil.
Checking "A" Terminal At Three Wire Connector

Turn ignition ON.
15.
Measure voltage between terminal "A" at three wire connector and ground.
Reading: approx. 12 volts
If there is no or low voltage, check blue wire to ignition switch and ignition control ECU connector pin 6. Repair as needed. If no voltage is
available at ignition switch, check switch (see IGNITION SWITCH).
16.
Crank engine.
Reading: no less then 10.5 volts
If reading is different, check battery and terminals. Repair as needed.
17.
Turn ignition OFF.
