To replace the oxygen sensor, apply some "Never-Seize" Volvo part number 1161035-9 to the threads of the new sensor. Make sure that no paste enters
into the slots on the tip, this will render the oxygen sensor ineffective. Torque the oxygen sensor to 40 ft.lbs (55 Nm).
