Checking Terminal Pins

Check that terminal contacts have been pushed down evenly in connector.
7.
If any connectors have been pushed down to far, poor connection may result.
8.
Reconnect ECU connector without protective sleeve.
Checking Hall-Sensor Terminal #3
9.
Disconnect distributor connector.
10.
Turn ignition ON.
11.
Connect a voltmeter between positive terminal #3 (red) and ground.
Reading should be:
12 volts
If not, check and repair wiring to ECU.
Checking Hall-Sensor Terminal #2

Connect a voltmeter between terminal #2 (blue) and ground.
Reading should be:
5 volts
If not, check and repair wiring to ECU.
13.
Turn ignition OFF.
