High Pressure Safety Valve HVAC: Description and Operation

Compressor Relief Valve

NOTE:  On cars equipped with DIESEL-KIKI compressor, the silencer is no longer stocked as a spare and has been replaced by a connection pipe
between the condenser and compressor pressure hose.

Relief Valve On Silencer

^   The valve should open if the system pressure becomes excessive and close when the pressure returns to normal.
^   If the valve opens, check that no system fault is present.
^   The type of relief valve installed depends on the type and model of car. The location may also differ.
