Fuel Injector Relay: Description and Operation

Sent by the fuel injection ECU via the system relay:

Bridging Suppressor Relay

PURPOSE

The suppressor relay creates an independent electrical circuit to minimize radio interference resulting from the fuel injector operation.

LOCATION

Located in engine compartment on passenger side fender-well.

OPERATION

Power to the fuel injectors is supplied by the suppressor relay. The suppressor relay receives its power from the system relay which is controlled
by the fuel injection ECU. When the system relay is activated, the suppressor relay receives the current to operate the fuel injectors.
