Connect a voltmeter to terminals# 1 and 4 at the air mass meter.

Rev engine to over 2100 RPM, then turn ignition OFF. After about four seconds, the voltmeter should oscillate for approx. one second (hot-wire
burn off).
If the air mass meter fails this test, replace and retest with new air mass meter.

Disconnect the test equipment. Remove the #1 fuse and reconnect the ECU and all other connectors, install the kick panel and glove compartment.
Ensure that the rubber seal in the ECU connector is installed before it is connected to the unit.

Reinstall the #1 fuse.
