Drill two 4 mm (5/32") holes 20 mm (3/4") from each end.
Countersink the holes to improve appearance.
Remove panel under steering wheel and disconnect airduct from louver, if installed.
Cut away plastic foam insulation where the hole is to be made.
Drill 4 mm (5/32") holes in each corner and several additional holes so that a hacksaw blade can be inserted.
Saw a hole to accommodate the air louver (cut the sheet metal reinforcement).
Drill two 4 mm (5/32") holes for the screws using the louver as a pattern. Louver screws should go on the left side.
Angle the louver to the right.
Screw louver into place using 2 screws and 2 clips (as shown in illustration).
Check function of louver. If it is difficult to close, the hole in the panel may be too small.
Install the air duct to louver.
Bend the hose as shown in the illustration.
