THIS BULLETIN APPLIES TO BOTH U.S. & CANADIAN MARKETS
A special wrench has been designed to simplify removal and installation of the plastic nut that secures the fuel level sender into the plastic fuel tank. The
wrench must be adjusted for a tight fit against the plastic nut.
This tool is mandatory and must be used during fuel tank/sender replacements on 700 and 900 series cars. It will be sent to all dealers as part of recall 57.
The use of this tool allows the plastic nut to be torqued to the specified value. When using the tool, the torque wrench must be positioned perpendicular
to the centerline of the sender.
