Service Bulletin Gr. 25, No. 202/704 dated May, 1991, covers throttle switch adjustments.

The bulletin details repair procedures based on verifiable symptoms. For each symptom, a corrective action(s) was listed. In some cases, there is a
possibility that several steps may be required to complete the corrective action to eliminate the symptom. The bulletin stipulates that the steps in the
corrective action area must be followed in order to complete the repair for that symptom.

Each symptom has been identified by a letter and cross referenced to an operation number. Therefore, only one (1) operation may be claimed per repair.

Effective with repair orders dated on or after July 18, 1991, the time allowance for the following symptoms are being changed:

Claims submitted for these repairs with repair order dates through July, 17, 1991, will automatically be adjusted and credited by Volvo. Service Bulletin
Gr. 25, No. 202/704 should be updated with the new time allowance.

Also, you should be aware that the previous repair method differed in procedures. The procedures in Service Bulletin Gr. 2-5. No. 202/704 address
specific symptoms and do not necessarily require cleaning of the housing. The time allowances listed reflect the new procedures.
