Checking Terminal Pins

Check that terminal contacts have been pushed down evenly in connector.

If any connectors have been pushed down to far, poor connection may result.
Checking Pin 6

Turn ignition ON.
8.
Check main power supply by connecting a voltmeter between pin 6 (blue) in ECU connector and ground.
Reading: approx. 12 volts
9.
If no voltage registers, check wire between ECU and fuse-box located behind driver side kick panel. Check fuse #31 and wiring to ignition switch.
Repair as necessary.
If no fault found, replace ignition switch and retest.
10.
Turn ignition OFF.
11.
After testing, disconnect all test equipment, reconnect all connectors (including the ECU connector) and remount all panels.
