Wiring repairs
and replacement of cable terminals

NOTE!

Use only crimping tool 9814223 with the black grips from repair kit 9814235-9 when crimping.

Material:

-

Connect cables to supply terminal block (see page four upper illustration) and position 1 in the 53-pin connector at the right A-post (see illustration)

NOTE!

Lock cables securely in the connector housing.

-

Tape the shielded conduits together where they run parallel.

-

Check that the cables are not located so they can be damaged or cause noise.

-

Reconnect negative battery lead. Make sure to push it down and secure with torque 5 Nm (45 in. lbs).

-

Verity electrical functions.

-

Reset radio code and clock.

INTERFERENCE FROM BLOWER MOTOR AT SPEEDS 4-5

Install:

-

a cable harness with suppressor condensor, P/N 9162827-1.

-

cable harness connector on the blower motor supply terminal as shown.

-

Foam tape round the suppression condensor.

-

Cable harness and condensor in the area above the blower fan supply terminal.

-

other components removed.
