Engine Control Module: Service and Repair
ENGINE CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT
When Changing Engine Control Module, Remember to:

Check Engine Control Module (ECM) and connector for damage to pins or sleeves. Faults could be caused by this.
ECM Is Located Behind Driver's Side Kick Panel
Removal of ECM

Ignition OFF.
^
Disconnect fuse 24.
^
Remove sound insulation and left front valance.
^
Remove ECM.
Installation of New ECM
^
Check ECM and connectors for damage to pins and sleeves.
^
Fit new ECM.
^
Replace sound insulation and left front valance.
^
Replace fuse.
