Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair
Washer Reservoir Replacement

Remove air cleaner.

Remove sensor.
-
Disconnect leads from pump and remove hose.
5-door models have 2 pumps.

Cut off lead tie and raise top-up tube.

Lift away reservoir.
-
If the pump is working satisfactorily transfer it to the new reservoir.

Replace reservoir if it is damaged. Otherwise rinse it out, clean and fit a new top-up filter.

Reassemble in reverse order.
Some top-up tubes have a small triangular mark at the top which should be located rearwards.

Fit new lead tie.
-
Fill reservoir with fluid. Check for leaks and test.
