Remove the screws.

Disconnect the large connector, or the dummy, at the front edge of the tunnel console.

Lift out the console and turn it upside down.

Press in the catches on the switch, or the dummy, and remove.

Carefully detach the panel using a weatherstrip tool.
Check that it detaches all the way around.
