Removal

Remove the following items:

the air vents in the passenger compartment.  Refer to:

-

the driver's side soundproofing panel.  Refer to: Instrument panel lower See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument
Panel/Service and Repair/Instrument Panel Lower 

-

the media player's control module.  Refer to: General audio player module See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Entertainment
Systems/Entertainment System Control Module/Service and Repair/General Audio Player Module 

Note! Carefully pull out the dashboard at the bottom edge.
