CAUTION: Before reinstalling the security strap, ensure that the car has been repaired and that no faults remain.

Ensure that the slot on the underside of the control module is in the correct position, and secure it by hooking on the strap.

Fold up security strap over the control module box cover.

Secure the locking strip by tightening the security screw (P/N 980471-7) so that its head breaks off.

Preparations
CAUTION: Before replacing a control module, the data programmed into the old module must be read off.
This is carried out in VADIS car communication under the title Reading off Programmed Values.
Read off and make a note of the programmed values
After replacement, the current data must be programmed into the new control module.
If the values cannot be read off, consult your supervisor or sales company or check with the customer to ensure that the new control module is configured
in the same way as the old one.
