Caution! Before reinstalling the security strap, ensure that the car has been repaired and that no faults remain.

Ensure that the slot on the underside of the control module is in the correct position, and secure it by hooking on the strap.

Fold up security strap over the control module box cover.

Secure the locking strip by tightening the security screw (P/N 980471-7) so that its head breaks off.

Preparations
Caution! Before replacing the control module, it is important to read out how the old control module is programmed. This is done in VIDA
vehicle communication under the heading Reading programmed values. Read out and note the programmed values. After replacing, program
the relevant data in the new control module. If the values cannot be read out, consult your closest supervisor/sales company/customer so that
the new control module is configured the same as the old control module.
