Seat Cushion: Removal and Replacement
Seat cushion heater pad
Replacing the seat cushion heater pad
Remove:
-
the upholstery according to Seat cushion upholstery See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Mechanical Front Seats/Seat Cushion
Upholstery.
-
the heater pad.
Use a hot-air gun to warm the adhesive. Pull off the heater pad.
Disconnect the wiring and the connector.
Install:
-
the new heater pad.
Warning! The new heater pad must not, under any circumstances, be glued on top of the old one.
