Volvo Workshop Service and Repair Manuals

Set the convertible top to the position illustrated.
Ignition off.
Make a note of the anti-theft radio code.
Disconnect the battery negative lead.

Remove: 

-

the 3 screws for the side piece on the cover lock

-

the 2 screws for the lock housing

-

the 2 tie straps for the wiring

-

the 2 screws and nuts for the micro-switch.

Replace the micro-switch.
