Disassembling the connector on the transmission 

Separate the cable clamps. Disconnect the connector from the transmission. Remove the sockets from the connector casing. Remove the rubber seal
from the connector. Insert a screwdriver between the casing and socket. Press in the catch. At the same time, slide the sockets out of the casing.
Detach the base for the gear-shift position sensor (9-pin) from other bases.
Remove the gear position sensor.

Assembling the connector 

Reassemble the socket for the gear-shift position sensor with the other sockets.
Install the bases in the casing.
Install the rubber seal in position.
Install the cable clamps around the cable harness and the rubber seal.
