Warning! Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected, non-deployed
airbag module. This could deploy the airbag.
Caution! Remove only the illustrated screws and nuts.
Warning! The passenger airbag module must never be taken apart, repaired or moved to another vehicle. For handling of a replaced module,
see Handling replaced SRS airbags / seat belt tensioners .
Remove 6 M6 nuts, 10 mm from passenger airbag module.
When installing, torque tighten to 10 Nm .
Reassembly
Assemble in reverse order
Then continue with finishing.
Warning! Before assembly, the ignition must be in position II. Then reconnect the battery negative lead. Ensure that nobody is in the car when
the battery is being connected.
