Coolant Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC: Service and Repair

Removing Passenger Compartment Temperature Sensor (ECC)

Ignition off.

-

Remove radio.

-

Insert your hand through the radio compartment and remove the ECC control module by pressing it out from behind.

Insert your hand through the control module opening and remove the switch next to the passenger compartment temperature sensor by pressing it
out from behind.

-

Insert your hand through the control module opening and remove the passenger compartment temperature sensor by pressing its catches together
with your fingers and pulling it out backwards.

NOTE:  Note the position of the passenger compartment temperature sensor before removing it.

Disconnect the passenger compartment temperature sensor connector.
