Remove:
-
control module box cooling pipe
-
the air duct to the air cleaner (ACL) housing
-
the screws, 4, holding the cooling fan cover and the relay console.
Detach the relay console and unplug the electrical cooling fan connector from the relay.
Detach the hose for charge air from the charge air cooler (applies to turbo engines).
Remove the cable from the 2 clamps on the cover.
Detach the vacuum hoses from the cover.
Detach the vacuum valve from the cover.
Unplug the connector to the electrical cooling fan.
Lift away the electrical cooling fan with cover.
Removing the existing cable terminals
