S40 L4-1.9L Turbo VIN 29 B4204T3 (2001)
There are two reference points (A) on the door and run-off profile. These points can be used to position the run-off profile correctly on the door.
Position the run-off profile on the door.
Use the run-off profile as a template. Mark the door to indicate the correct position for the run-off profile.
Apply the seal (P/N 277253) 1 cm inside the markings. See the illustration.
Note! The seal must be positioned beneath the drain holes (B) furthest down on the door.
Note! A gap must be left in the seal on the two sides of the loudspeaker so that any water can run off.
Carefully press the run-off profile into place.
Route the cable harness through the slot to the power window mechanism.
Install the bracket using two screws.
Cut away the run-off profile at the loudspeaker opening (D).
