 General

Always install all the components from the repair set.
 Remove:

-

The glass panel, see Sliding and tilting sun roof See: Service and Repair/Sliding And Tilting Sun Roof.

-

The wind deflector with block mount, see Sliding and tilting sun roof See: Service and Repair/Sliding And Tilting Sun Roof.

-

The gutter and sun shade, see Removing sun shade.

-

Tape the roof edge at the front and side to prevent damage.

-

Lift the cable out of the gripper.
