Apply compressor oil on all mating surfaces in the spacer ring

First install the spacer ring on special tool 999 5604 Punch See: Tools and Equipment/999 5604 Punch

Carefully position the tool and the spacer ring on the shaft. Do not turn it!

Press the spacer ring into place.
