S40 L4-1.9L Turbo VIN 29 B4204T3 (2001)
If the switch is defective the whole control panel must be replaced.

Remove the panel by carefully inserting a weatherstrip tool along the edge and pull the panel forwards. The knobs remain in position.

Remove the four torx mounting screws

Remove the rear section of the bracket. Press carefully at the edge with a screwdriver.
