Blow the hose clean in the direction of the crankcase ventilation.

Cleaning The Vacuum Hose

Clean the vacuum hose nipple on the crankcase ventilation at the intake manifold.

Remove the hose switch from the intake manifold.

Disconnect the hose from the nipple. Disconnect the other end of the hose.

Blow the hose clean using compressed air. If the hose is blocked, use a welding rod with a maximum diameter of 2.3 mm to clean it.

Clean the nipple using a drill with a diameter of 3.2 mm.

NOTE:  Check that the intake manifold is free of contaminants.
