Caution! Ensure that there is no dirt between the control module and the body bracket.
Connect the connector.
Lock the connector with the mounting bracket (2).
Install the sensor module using new screws. Tighten the screws. Tighten to 10 Nm.
Note! It is important that the sensor module is correctly installed on the chassis so that a collision can be registered.
Install the rear center console according to Rear center console See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Console/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Rear Center Console.
Finishing work
Prepare the car according to Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting.
Check that the SRS indicator lamp goes out after approximately 10 seconds.
