SIPS sensor (B-post)

Preparing the vehicle

Prepare the car according to  Note when disconnecting and connecting the battery lead See: Starting and Charging/Battery/Service and
Repair/Procedures/Battery, Disconnecting.

Removing the SIPS sensor (B-post)

Remove:

-

the lower B-post panel according to  Lower B-post panel See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Trim Panel/Service and Repair/Removal
and Replacement/Lower B-Post Panel 

-

the foam carefully

-

the two screws.

Carefully unhook the catch. Remove the connector.

Note! Do not pull the cable.

Note! Check that no pins are damaged on the sensor and connector.
