Caution! Disconnect the battery negative cable.

Remove special tool: 998 8695 TEST DEVICE See: Tools and Equipment/998 8695 Test Device.

Turn the ignition key to position I so that the steering wheel lock is unlocked.

Reattach the connector (A) to the steering wheel module. Check the engagement.

Refit the steering wheel module in the steering wheel.

Turn the steering wheel to access the screws. Tighten to 10 Nm.

Fit the steering column covers in accordance with: Steering column panels See: Body and Frame/Interior Moulding / Trim/Dashboard / Instrument
Panel/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Steering Column Panels.
Check that:

The steering wheel is easy to turn.

The steering wheel lock functions correctly.

The steering wheel module is correctly secured.
