 Applies to turbocharged diesel engines

Detach the front exhaust pipe at the turbocharger (TC) and from the front mounting.

Relieve the load from the pipe by hanging the pipe in a hook.

Gear selector rod

Applies only to M3P and M5P transmissions

Remove the gear selector rod.

The heat shield for the steering gear

Remove the rear engine mounting from the transmission

-

Press the engine forward. Remove the heat shield on the steering gear.
