Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Overhaul
Spring strut front (Sport/Dynamic), assembling
Assembling the spring strut
Caution! For optimal handling in "Sport" and "Dynamic" versions, the upper spring plates (A) are installed turned 20° clockwise (seen from
the wheel).This rotation must be carried out on both the left and right-hand sides.
Lubricate the stop using petroleum jelly. Install the stop in the dust boot.
Pull out the shock absorber rod completely.
Install:

the rubber stop and dust boot
-
the rubber on the underneath
-
the spring strut through the spring
-
the rubber on top
-
the upper spring seat
-
the mounting
-
the lower spring strut mounting
-
the nut. Finger tighten.
Install the upper spring seat (A) so that the opening in the seat is turned 20° clockwise in relation to the right-hand line (B).
Caution! Turn clockwise on both the left and right-hand sides.
