Tap the tripod into its seating. Use tool 999 5519 Drift See: Tools and Equipment/999 5519 Drift.
Install the snap ring.
Lubricate the tripod.
Note! There must not be any play between the rollers on the tripod or between the tripod and the splines.
Finishing work
Install the drive shaft according to Drive shafts, replace See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.
