Windshield Washer Reservoir: Procedures

Remove The Washer Reservoir 

Remove: 

-

The right hand side splashguard (partially)

-

The front fog lamp

-

Right front wheel

-

The hub

-

Drain the reservoir

-

The connectors and hoses

-

Slacken off the support screw for the carbon filter a few turns

-

The upper mounting screw for the reservoir

-

The washer unit assembly (crosshead screw on upper side)

-

The washer reservoir screws (4)

-

The headlamp cover. Pull out the holder by twisting from underneath.

Remove the pump and the sensor.

Install The Washer Reservoir 

HINT: Before installing the pump, immerse the housing in water or a soap solution to avoid compressing the rubber seal.

Install: 

-

The pump and the sensor. Press it carefully into place

-

Tighten the mounting screw for the carbon filter

-

The washer reservoir (5 screws)

-

The hoses and connectors

-

The headlamp cover

-

Fill the reservoir. Check for leaks

-

Install the hub and wheel

-

Install the fog lamp and the splashguard.
