Release both inner and outer flanges on the A-pillar grommet.

Gently pull the harness out of the A-pillar cavity as far as possible.

Remove the electrical tape so that the cable harness is released from the grommet.

To allow the harnesses to be pulled out far enough, it will be necessary to cut the cable tie that attaches the harness to the firewall clips under the
carpet. Right side shown above. Left side clip and wire tie location is similar.
