Parking Brake Release Switch: Service and Repair

Parking brake switch, replacing

Removal

Parking brake switch

-

Remove the parking brake lever. See Replacing the parking brake lever See: Brakes and Traction Control/Parking Brake System/Parking Brake
Lever/Service and Repair/Replacing the Parking Brake Lever

Cut or grind off the rivet head. Remove the remainder of the rivet

Remove the parking brake switch.

Installation

Rivet the parking brake switch into position. Use pop rivet (937881)
