Fold down the lock handle (C) to the horizontal position. This requires a force of approximately 50 N (11 lbf), there should be considerable
tension.
If this is not the case the U-bracket installation must be repeated.

Then fold the safety bracket (E) over the lock handle (C) until it snaps shut. If this cannot be done, check that the lock handle is snapped shut in
the final position. Install the other three securing plates in the same way.

Check that the box is securely fixed to the load carrier at regular intervals.
Installing ski holders/ski support

Install the ski supports by sliding the clamp bolts into the roof box tensioner forks. Ensure that the catches are turned as illustrated.

Install the ski holders on the catches and turn the clamp bolts to the locked position.
NOTE: The ski holder must be locked with clamp bolts.

Use the straps supplied to secure the skis.
