Seat Cushion: Service and Repair
Front Seat

Seat Cushion Padding

Seat cushion padding

Replacing seat cushion padding

Carry out  Upholstery, seat cushion, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat/Upholstery, Seat Cushion, Replacing.

Disconnect the four springs on the underside of the cushion.
Remove backrest wiring according to Heater pad, replacing See: Seat Heater/Service and Repair/Heater Pad, Replacing/Front Seat.

Replace padding.
Install new seat heater element according to Heater pad, replacing See: Seat Heater/Service and Repair/Heater Pad, Replacing/Front Seat.

Install:

In reverse order.
 Upholstery, seat cushion, replacing See: Seat Cover/Service and Repair/Front Seat/Upholstery, Seat Cushion, Replacing 

Lumbar Support Backrest Cushion, Replacing

Preparation

Carry out operation  Lumbar support adjustment knob, replacing See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat/Lumbar Support
Adjustment Knob, Replacing and Lumbar support strap See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Front Seat/Lumbar Support Strap.
