SERVICE CAMPAIGN 103 DESCRIPTION
Volvo Cars of North America, Inc. and Volvo Cars of Canada Ltd. are committed to ongoing product improvements. In keeping with this
commitment, a new lug wrench with increased durability has been made available for model year 2001 560 and model year 2000-2001 (Partly)
V70 and V70XC and S80 models. This new lug wrench will replace the adapter piece. Current owners will he mailed a new lug wrench under
separate cover.
It is important that this new lug wrench also be placed in the qualifying vehicles currently in retailer's inventory. This action should be performed
during PDS2-Final Mechanical, when all tire pressures (including the spare tire) are checked for the correct pressure and when battery cutoff
switch is removed. The replaced adapter piece should be recycled according to your local recycling laws.
Volvo will be mailing a replacement lug wrench to the owners of these affected vehicles. This mailing began during the week of April 9, 2001.
