S60 2.4 L5-2.4L VIN 61 B5244S (2001)
Check that the spring strut bearing (1), spring seat (2) and rubber bump stop with boot (3) are free of damage. Replace if necessary.
Installing the spring
Compress the new spring to a length of approximately 260 mm. Use hydraulic piston 951 2911 with claw 951 2914.
Install:

the bump stop with the boot
-
the spring
-
the spring seat.
Install the fixing nut. Tighten to 70 Nm. Use socket 999 5469 and a 3/8" Torx-wrench as a counterhold.
