NOTE:  Note the location of the bushing.

Slacken off and remove the upper screw. Detach the bracket and remove the spring.

Angle out and remove the whiplash element.

Replace the rubber gasket with a new one.

Installation 

NOTE:  For tightening torques, see: Specifications.

Installing the whiplash unit on non-folding seats 
Install a new whiplash element.

Install:
