S70 L5-2.4L VIN 61 B5244S (2000)
Install:
-
the brake pipe to the brake hose (1) at the bracket.
Tighten to 17 Nm

the brake pipe in its clips
-
the bracket in its mounting (2). Tighten to 25 Nm
Note: The brake pipe must not be in contact with the car body. Ensure that the brake hose is not twisted. If necessary alter the hose at the other
end (brake pipe end). If the brake hose is twisted it may rub against the tire, rim or wheel arch. This could cause the circuit to fail.
Remove the pedal jack.
Fill and bleed the brake system

Pressure test the brake system

Note: The method is almost the same for left and right-hand drive versions. On right-hand drive cars, the brake pipes are positioned between the
master cylinder and the ABS unit. They are clamped to the cowl in two places. All the illustrations show the left-hand drive version.
Preparation
Switch off the ignition
Disconnect the battery lead. VCC-104452
Removal
Collect the brake fluid. Replacing the front brake calipers
Removing the air cleaner (ACL) housing
