Remove the screw (1), the nuts (2) and then the bracket (3) (pull the bracket forwards)

Lift off the protective cover (4).

Remove the three screws in the battery holder. Lift out the battery holder

Remove the cover from the battery.

Remove the cover plug from the hole in the bodywork (battery drainage is not affected). See the illustration.
